The bus was large and threatening. It just stayed there instead of retreating as the police officer got closer. Obvious justification: The police officer was in fear for his life. The police will conduct an investigation and determine that they were not at fault... of course. This is the 5th time this has happened in El Paso in recent years.

It happened about 7:45 a.m. in front on Schuster Elementary School.

Think about that... the cop was speeding and driving recklessly in a school zone.

Hit a school bus.

Wasn't self respecting enough to resign for gross professional negligence and a discredit to law enforcement professionals everywhere

There were no children in the bus and the officer was not injured, police said.

Officer Kevin Mckinney, a seven-year veterean of the force, was cited for driver inattention.

Or the kids were too slow getting off the bus. The officer gently lifted the left rear corner of the bus so the kids could flow out the right front corner more quickly!

Machine gun (Hartford Connecticut) equipped police wagon pulled by horses. Huh, so much for due process and a court trial

March 1892 ,

the Gatling is a Model 1872 "Police" Gatling Gun. Second, this is the Hartford PD, Connecticut.

This is not the image that appeared on the cover of the March 19, 1892 edition of "Scientific American." ...

that is a hand engraving of the photo!

thieves stole a Granite City police officer’s unmarked squad car in St Louis

It came equipped with a badge, gun, bulletproof vest, and radio. Everuthing needed to be a better cop than the one that is now riding a desk in shame.

Oh, and now you know that cops can't do their job in a regular cop car, why else do they need to be camouflaged to blend in with traffic?

It must be hard to be effective when you're that hampered by the reputation St Louis cops have earned by being unprofessional and terrible at their jobs, They can't deny it in light of the evidence (When your police car is stolen from you, it's time to be very ashamed)

during the “Eyes on 94” crash reduction effort from Dec. 7-11 was cops focusing on trucking

More than 450 truck drivers were ticketed on the I-94 corridor over a stretch of five days. Michigan State Police motor carrier officers conducted a total of 542 commercial driver inspections, MSP officers issued 455 citations and 455 warnings.  Officers in Indiana and Ohio issued an additional 471 citations and 1,618 warnings.

According to a release from MSP, officers focused on violations by truck drivers which would most likely contribute to a crash including speeding, following too closely, improper passing, distracted driving and improper lane use.

The multi-state initiative also involved officers from the Indiana State Police on I-94 and the Ohio Highway Patrol on I-80 and other major freeways.
