Around 2,000 Florida-based truck drivers who were tested by Clarence Davis after January 1, 2012 must retest within 60 days, he may have given out invalid CDLs

According to a letter from Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, a third party CDL tester has been accused of improper testing procedures, so the state suspects that some of the drivers that he tested are not qualified.

While state officials say that they recognize that retesting will be a costly inconvenience for truck drivers, road safety is their main concern.
